The www.roadsafetycambodia.info was initiated by Handicap International Belgium in 2006. In collaboration with the main stakeholders, especially the National Road Safety Committee (NRSC) the website has progressively developed with more information and scope.

Vision

The website aims to provide all information on road safety and road traffic accidents in Cambodia, including main stakeholders’ contacts. It has been designed into 2 main components:

2006-2010: based on the 15 action plans of National Road Safety Committee (NRSC), which really covers the main road safety context in the country.

2011-2020: based on the new 2011-2020 National Road Safety Action Plan, which consists of:

1. Road Safety Management
2. Infrastructure
3. Safe Vehicles
4. Safe Road User Behavior
5. Post Crash Care
6. Law Enforcement
7. Licensing

In each action, mentioned above, you can find 3 main components:

1. Description: definition, scope and overview of the action
2. News: any news related to the action, organized in Cambodia
3. Partner involved: List of partners involved in the organization or implementation of the action
